Antibiotic Guardian Champions
September 12, 2016

A message from the chair of the Antibiotic Guardian Campaign:
"We are looking for two or more students who would like to take on the role of leading the campaign within your university; these students will be Antibiotic Guardian Champions. All Antibiotic Guardian Champions who complete a number of set activities will also earn the Antibiotic Guardian Champion open academy badge which can be listed under their extra-curricular activities and on LinkedIn accounts, for example.
The role of an Antibiotic Guardian Champion is to:
· Raise awareness of the potential impact of antibiotic resistance
· Bring together a team of keen volunteers who would like to raise awareness of antibiotic resistance and encourage members of the public to sign up to become Antibiotic Guardians.
Examples of activities could be as simple as showing the short two-minute Antibiotic Guardian video at the start of lectures (pending permission from lecturers) or encouraging peers to sign up to the Antibiotic Guardian campaign, setting up awareness stands or providing peer education. Further details and ideas for participation will be made available to champions through an ‘How to Guide’ that is currently being finalised.
Please get back to us by 28th September 2016 at the latest if you would be interested in nominating yourself!
